Pathologist
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pathologist to join our medical team. The pathologist will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases by examining tissue, cell, and fluid specimens, providing accurate and timely diagnostic reports to guide patient care and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct microscopic examinations of specimens and perform diagnostic tests.
- Interpret laboratory results and prepare comprehensive pathology reports.
- Collaborate with clinicians to correlate pathology findings with clinical presentations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and tumor boards as required.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
- Engage in continuous professional development and keep abreast of advances in pathology.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in pathology.
- Valid medical license to practice pathology.
- At least 3 years of clinical pathology experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and continuing education.
