What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource helping patients and providers navigate insurance, scheduling, and billing. A typical day includes:
- Verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility (we’ll train you!)
- Communicating with patients, providers, and insurance companies to gather and confirm information
- Explaining benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and coverage in a clear, supportive way
- Assisting with prior authorizations to ensure services are approved and covered
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collecting payments and documenting account activity
- Partnering with your team to keep workflows moving and avoid backlogs
- Delivering exceptional, compassionate customer service in every interaction
