Patient Care Tech - Pediatric Unit

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Facility:Peyton Manning Children's Hospital

Department/Specialty: Pediatric/ M/S

Schedule: Full Time Night

• Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
• The Patient Care Technician (PCT)—the backbone of bedside care.
• Physical Care: Handling mobility, hygiene (ADLs), and safe transfers.
• Clinical Support: Monitoring vital signs and documenting data accurately.
• Communication: Acting as the primary "eyes and ears" for the nursing staff.
• Safety: Keeping the environment sterile and the equipment ready.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

  Previous in-patient pediatric experience preferred
