Patient Care Technician Orthopedics

• Schedule: Part Time | Day Shift

• Deliver compassionate bedside care, assisting patients with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities to ensure dignity and comfort throughout their hospital stay.
• Track and report vital clinical indicators, such as vitals and intake/output, swiftly alerting nursing staff to any changes in a patient's condition.
• Maintain safe, responsive recovery spaces by promptly responding to call lights, proactively rounding on patients, and keeping rooms clean and stocked.
• Partner closely with the nursing team to execute individualized care plans and perform routine diagnostic tasks that promote healing and seamless discharge.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
