Summary
Provides 24/7 patient observation and safety support during overnight shifts, assisting with daily living activities and preventing self-harm or elopement in a hospital setting.
Responsible for providing continuous observation and appropriate documentation on activity of an assigned patient who has been identified as having increased risk for injury.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Provides ADL's and protects Patients in Sitter and Spotter assignments from self-harm and prevent elopements.
2. Makes continuous rounds.
3. Assists with Activities of Daily Living.
4. Assists with bathroom/ commode/incontinence care.
5. Monitors Intake and Output.
6. Performs preventive skin care, feeding mouth care, and changes bed linens when necessary.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
2. Prior experience in Patient Care preferred
