Patient Services Specialist - JACC
This posting is for multiple openings of a Patient Services Specialist - JACC at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. We are hiring for the following opportunities:
- Full Time, Day Shift
Per Diem or On-Call, Day Shift
Under the direction of the JACC Business Operations Manager this position is primarily responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival processes for the professional office visit. This individual is responsible for answering a multi-line phone system and routing the call to the appropriate department, the professional scheduling of appointments and verification of insurance benefits. This individual is also responsible for the completion of registration by collecting accurate demographic information, insurance information, and collecting patient liability (if known) prior to the time of service. Finally, this position is responsible for basic customer service, promoting a positive patient experience and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- 6 months Healthcare Experience in Business Office, Hospital or Medical Office setting.
