Patient Transport Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Driver to provide scheduled transportation for patients/clients throughout the Columbus area. This is a healthcare transportation position and operates much like a shuttle service, transporting individuals between residences, treatment locations, appointments, and other approved destinations.

Part time: 7 AM–11 AM or 11 AM–2 PM

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients/clients throughout the Columbus area
• Follow assigned daily pickup and drop-off schedules
• Maintain professional, respectful interactions with all passengers
• Protect patient privacy and maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality
• Never discuss patient names, treatment, destinations, or other protected information with unauthorized individuals
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, or transportation concerns promptly
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all company safety, healthcare privacy, and transportation policies

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable driving throughout Columbus and surrounding areas
• Ability to follow routes, schedules, and written instructions
• Professional and courteous when working with patients/clients
• Ability to understand and follow HIPAA and healthcare confidentiality requirements
• Must be able to pass required background checks
• Healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Training regarding patient privacy, confidentiality, and company procedures will be provided.

This is an ideal position for someone looking for consistent part-time morning or midday hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Shift Options: 7 AM–11 AM or 11 AM–2 PM

Pay: $16.00 per hour
