Summary
Designs woven patterns for textiles using CAD software, selecting yarns and weave structures to meet customer specs and manufacturing efficiency.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Pattern Designer utilizes technique pattern designand technical knowledge to develop and design woven patterns based on customer artwork and quality requirement. The position is responsible for selecting weave structures, yarn denier, and colors, ensuring that macth with customer garment applications while optimizing internal manufacturing productivity and processes.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Design and develop woven pattern files based on provided Artwork and quality requirements from customers.
- Select suitable weave structures, density, and yarn denier appropriate for each pattern and design requirement.
- Select yarn colors and yarn denier specifications to match quality expectations customer.
- Knowlege label designs with customer garment application specifications.
- Optimize designs to fit internal manufacturing processes (In-House) and enhance production efficiency/productivity.
- Good attention to detail, logical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills in sample development.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- 2+years of experience in woven pattern development.
- Proficient in using pattern design software for weaving/textiles. Proficiency in EAT software is an advantage
- Experience in weave design technology and technical parameters.
- Knowlege of garment applications
- English communication.
