Payments Engineer

You'll design, build, and scale components of a fiat money movement clearing system. You'll build integrations with banks, stablecoin issuers, custodians, and other partners. You'll design and build core product functionality to enable better stablecoin payments products, and you'll pitch in on the everyday tasks that keep a small team running.

• Help with general team tasks ("the dishes")

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building deeply with payment systems, financial infrastructure, and/or banking integrations
• Experience scaling a payment system from 0-1 and ideally also 1-10
• Deep understanding of fiat payment rails (ACH, wires, RTP, etc.)
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, balancing shipping quickly with building robust, scalable systems
• Comfort thriving in ambiguity and taking ownership
