Payments Operations Transformation Group Manager

Responsibilities:

• Define the strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled Ops UI adoption across Services Operations.
• Lead AI-driven automation and workflow improvements to increase Straight-Through Processing, reduce manual touchpoints, risks and operating costs.
• Engage senior Product and Technology stakeholders and coordinate cross-LOB transformation opportunities.
• Oversee governance forums, executive reporting, operational metrics and savings tracking.
• Lead the integration of system logs, transaction data, performance metrics and workflow data into analysis platforms.
• Govern operational requirements for development teams and oversee test-case validation and Performance Validation Testing scenarios.
• Direct launch readiness, including training materials, support documentation, monitoring dashboards, incident response and post-launch support.

• Hybrid working model with up to two days working from home per week.

• Several years of experience in operational processes for domestic and cross-border payments, with a record of implemented process enhancements.
• Deep expertise in cross-border payment processing and repairs, SWIFT standards, ISO 20022 XML, ACH, clearing and settlement, Nostro reconciliation, automated FX, AML, sanctions screening, PSD2, EU FTR and the Travel Rule.
• Proven experience or strong working knowledge of AI adoption, machine learning and intelligent automation in financial operations aligned with a Target Operating Model.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders, influence Product and Technology roadmaps and navigate complex organizations.
• High attention to detail, data governance, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability and resilience.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills, including lookups and pivots, plus working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and AI tools.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Experience with Jira and knowledge of Scrum or Kanban methodologies are preferable.
