Payments Performance Analyst (Data & Analytics)
You manage full-funnel payment performance, develop data-driven insights and scalable analytical solutions, advise merchants and internal teams, lead optimization discussions, and identify opportunities to improve approval rates, reduce fraud, and increase cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial teams to showcase Adyen’s value proposition and drive adoption
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform merchant conversations
- Lead discussions with existing and prospective customers
- Equip commercial teams with tools and training
- Provide internal guidance and direct merchant-facing support as a payment optimization expert
- Deploy optimization playbooks across the customer portfolio
- Identify opportunities to introduce and drive adoption of Adyen solutions
- Drive insights-led optimization strategies
- Build and maintain analytical frameworks, dashboards, and tools
- Manage and interpret large data sets
- Provide consultative guidance to high-value customers
- Develop subject matter expertise in payment optimization
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in risk, payment performance, data, or a similar role within the payments industry
- Payments industry experience
- Fluent English and Portuguese
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ownership and accountability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data analysis and correlation skills
- Experience working with complex and unfamiliar data sets
- Experience creating dashboards using BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
