We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to oversee all payroll operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Position Summary

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. This includes maintaining employee payroll records, verifying timekeeping data, managing deductions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and resolving payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process semi-monthly and sales payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Prepare and issue off-cycle payments, manual checks, and final pay for terminations
  • Compile, review, and upload payroll data from multiple sources with line-by-line accuracy
  • Collect, verify, and audit employee timekeeping records
  • Monitor employee changes including promotions, transfers, and terminations
  • Enter and manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and other withholdings
  • Maintain payroll system data integrity and conduct regular audits for accuracy
  • Address payroll discrepancies related to wages, taxes, and timecards promptly
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and direct deposit
  • Track critical payroll deadlines and compliance requirements
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll laws and communicate updates as needed
  • Prepare payroll reports for monthly, quarterly, and year-end review
  • Ensure all payroll processes meet accuracy, timeliness, and compliance standards
