Payroll Executive

Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Executive tomanage and process payroll for at least 500 employees. This role requires ahigh degree of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. The PayrollAdministrator will be responsible for end-to-end payroll functions includingCPF contributions, income tax submissions, compliance surveys, and payroll costreporting to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Payroll Processing:
    Administer and process monthly payroll accurately for a workforce of 500+ employees.
    Ensure timely submission and disbursement of salaries and allowances.
    Verify and validate all payroll inputs (e.g., attendance, OT, claims, deductions) prior to payroll processing.
    Perform payroll reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Central Provident Fund (CPF) & Statutory Contributions:
    Compute and submit monthly CPF contributions in accordance with statutory requirements.
    Handle other relevant government contributions and statutory deductions (e.g., SDL, SHG, MBMF, CDAC, ECF).
  • Annual Income Tax Reporting:
    Prepare and submit IR8A forms and other related tax documentation to IRAS on a yearly basis.
    Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Quarterly Survey Submissions:
    Complete and submit all company-related surveys required by statutory boards (e.g., MOM, DOS) on a quarterly basis.
    Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for survey responses.
  • Payroll Audit and Accuracy Checks:
    Conduct pre-upload verification to ensure all salaries, bonuses, and adjustments are accurate.
    Maintain up-to-date and accurate payroll records and audit trails.
  • Payroll Reporting:
    Generate and present monthly payroll cost reports to management, highlighting variances and trends.
    Provide payroll-related reports and data as requested by internal departments or external auditors.
  • System Maintenance and Data Confidentiality:
    Maintain the payroll system/database with updated employee information.
    Ensure strict confidentiality and secure handling of payroll data and employee records.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably in a mid to large-sized company.
  • Proficient in using payroll software (e.g., InfoTech, Payboy, Times Software) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore payroll regulations, CPF, and income tax requirements.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
