Payroll Garnishment & Compliance Specialist
About the Opportunity
The Payroll Garnishment & Compliance Specialist is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and processing court ordered involuntary deductions such as Creditor Garnishments, Child Support, State & Federal Tax Levies. They are responsible for ensuring garnishments are processed accurately and timely to ensure proper deduction calculation when processed through payroll.
The ideal candidate will understand payroll, wage attachment and payment processing. Candidate should be able to interface with clients and use critical thinking skills to resolve complex problems.
This position will demand strong organizational skills and attention to details.
This position will reside in the Philippines and work US Eastern Standard Time 5 days per week.
What You'll Get to Do
Interpret and process withholding orders including, but not limited to garnishments, child support, student loans and federal and state levies accurately to avoid cost & liability as per federal & state garnishment regulations.
Prepare and respond to (inquiries) continuing answers for withholding orders
Proactively highlight risks and prepare root cause analysis to ensure issues/concerns are escalated for resolution
Must manage assigned work in organized, proactive manner to meet all required commitments, including KPI's (metrics) and client SLA's (service level agreements)
