Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator

Position Identification:

Non-Exempt

Reports to: Accounting & Office Manager, Operating Unit President

Position Summary:

The Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely while also supporting key day-to-day HR functions including onboarding, employee records, compliance, and benefits administration. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Functions:

• Administer union payroll, including reporting, payments, and tax compliance
• Prepare payroll funding reports and resolve discrepancies
• Manage new hire paperwork, onboarding, and orientation
• Perform employment verifications, background checks, and maintain employee files
• Maintain AAP logs and follow OFCCP guidelines
• Manage employee additions, deletions, and changes in the ERP system
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

• 3+ years of payroll and HR experience with strong payroll knowledge
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and follow through on priorities
• Experience collaborating across all organizational levels
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficient in Excel
