Payroll Manager - EMEA

Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join our global Payroll team providing outstanding service to our employees. This team leads with impact—ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, managing statutory obligations and supporting employee experience through timely and transparent payroll operations. As Payroll Manager, you will support end-to-end payroll activities across multiple European countries, liaise with vendors and internal partners and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This role requires a strong grasp of regional payroll practices, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate and timely payroll processing for European countries, including tax filings and statutory payments.
• Coordinate with payroll service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
• Maintain and update process documentation and support audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Handle employee queries related to payroll, time and attendance and benefits.
• Crosstrain and support other region payrolls
• Support special payroll projects and initiatives while ensuring timely execution.
• Coordinate with Finance/Tax / Accounting /Accounts Payable and other People Functions for smooth operations.
• Contribute to People Team Ops projects of automation and transformation.

Preferred qualifications and education

• Minimum 5 years of experience in European payroll operations, with hands-on exposure to compliance, benefits and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems and time and attendance processes, ideally with experience in Workday.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to work across teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Able to set priorities, work under tight deadlines and research statutory regulations with minimal handholding.
• Experience working with Poland, Germany, UK, Spain and Austria payrolls preferred.
