OVERVIEW:
Al Qadsiah Club
is seeking a detail-oriented payroll officer who will be responsible for the
day-to-day accounting operations related to payroll and employee-related benefits.
This position will be responsible for providing payroll and benefit services by
processing payroll and employee-related benefits, reimbursements and claims,
maintaining accurate payroll accounts, answering payroll/benefit questions,
maintaining employee benefit coverage information and personnel records.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares, analyzes and process payroll transactions on a timely
manner.
- Prepares and/or analyzes periodic payroll reports, schedules,
reconciliations, payroll related journal entries using established finance
policies, procedures and guidelines on a timely manner.
- Prepares and/or reviews the accuracy of payroll related journal
entries and performs account reconciliation and analysis while ensuring
supporting documentation is accurate and in compliance with company
policies.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate payroll policies and controls
and payroll processing and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Prepare audit schedules and assists/coordinates audit of payroll
and employee benefits.
- Coordinate payroll-related details with Human Resources department
and other departments.
- Coordinate with HR on employee changes.
- Process bonuses and incentives for employees and players.
- Check employee payment documents related to leave balance,
end-of-service benefits, employee advances and other entitlements in order
to verify data / calculations against employee salaries, benefits,
entitlement entries and process for payment execution.
- Preparing and submitting payroll reports to management, providing
insights into various elements of payroll costs and allocation to cost
centers.
- Record accruals for employee salaries and benefits including
accrued vacation, accrued tickets, end of service benefits, bonuses and
other entitlements.
- Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts and resolve
discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
EDUCATION,
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years payroll processing experience, including reconciliation of
payroll-related accounts.
