About the job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Officer to manage the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 500 contract employees across two Singapore entities.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling high-volume contractor payroll, strong knowledge of Singapore employment regulations, and excellent analytical skills. Experience with Malaysian payroll and labour laws will be an added advantage. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

· Perform full spectrum of monthly payroll computation & processing for 500 contract employees for both SG companies

· Checking of time attendance to ensure payment ofhours are correct

· Setting up of new employee payroll account withinpayroll system

· Prepare monthly payroll reconciliation

· Ensure all payroll payments are in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

· Process employee income tax submission

· Process monthly CPF contributions, government related mandatory contributions

· Prepare the billing report and invoice to clients after completing the payroll

· Develop the SOP for Payroll as a training guide for HR and Payroll team

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Candidates should preferably possess a Degree or Diploma in Business Management/Human Resources

· Possess at least 2 years of Payroll experience particularly in handling contractors' payroll (monthly and hourly for 500employees)

· Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail

· Team- Player, confident and able to multi-task

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Good written and oral communication skills

· High sense of P&C awareness

· Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheet formula

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet timelines

· Well Versed in Singapore MOM EmploymentAct/CPF/IRAS

· Knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws is a plus.

· Experience in handling Malaysia payroll experience is an added advantage
