Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance with statutory regulations. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). Key Responsibilities: - Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status. - Calculate and process deductions for PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions. - Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory authorities as required. - Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations, particularly PF and ESIC. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations. - Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
