Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting both employees and leadership. This role is key to maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations and driving efficiency in payroll operations.

🔑 What You’ll Do

• Process and administer payroll on a regular schedule with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain payroll records, employee data, and tax documentation in compliance with regulations
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and respond promptly to employee inquiries
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on employee status changes, benefits, and deductions
• Generate payroll reports and provide insights to management
• Stay current with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies
• Support audits and compliance reviews
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy

🎓 What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of payroll experience (multi‑state payroll preferred)
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems (ADP, Paylocity, Paychex, etc.)
• Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll‑related tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
