We are looking for a Payroll & SSC Junior Specialist to join our international People & Culture Shared Service Center in Poznań on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll support payroll processing and HR operations across 11 countries, working closely with local payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR/payroll career who wants hands-on exposure to multi-country operations in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support payroll processing across 11 countries, ensuring accurate and timely data flow between Workday, HR operations, and payroll vendors.
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact with external payroll vendors, coordinating inputs, resolving queries, and tracking deadlines.
- Manage and resolve HR transactions and employee requests via Jira, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain, update, and audit employee data in Workday to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance ahead of payroll cut-offs.
- Support benefits administration across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and a positive employee experience.
- Help identify data discrepancies or process gaps and contribute ideas for operational improvement.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and payroll vendors to support data quality and smooth month-end processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, GDPR requirements, and local employment regulations.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in HR operations, payroll, or shared services (e.g. a previous payroll/HR role, internship, or relevant coursework combined with practical exposure).
- Familiarity with Workday or a comparable HRIS/ERP system is a plus, not a requirement.
- Comfortable working with ticketing systems such as Jira, or willing to learn quickly.
- Good Excel skills and comfort working with data and numbers.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over deadlines — payroll doesn't wait.
- Comfortable coordinating with external vendors and juggling multiple processes at once.
- Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, global SaaS organization.
- Willingness to use AI technologies and tools.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving AI technologies.
If you don’t tick every box above, don’t worry — we’re more interested in your potential and willingness to learn.
