Payroll & Timekeeping Spec

Performs complex payroll and time and attendance functions, including the preparation, processing, verification, and reconciliation of employee leave and payroll records. Reviews timesheets, hours worked, pay adjustments, and related documentation to identify and resolve discrepancies. Processes application materials for Spartan Patrollers and Contractual Security Service Officers and ensures contract security companies are paid accurately and on time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of payroll policies and procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to create complex spreadsheets Working knowledge and experience in general and payroll accounting Skilled in the use of automated timekeeping systems and software.

  • Working knowledge of regulations and laws related to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

  • Experience providing a high level of customer service and communication to both internal and external customers and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines

Additional Considerations:

  • Demonstrated experience working with Cardinal Peoplesoft strongly preferred
