Handles phone systems and caller inquiries in a healthcare setting, managing records and coordinating with medical staff during part-time shifts.

    Part-Time Saturday and Sunday 9a-3p or 3p-9p, additional shifts Mon-Fri; Includes holidays and other shifts as requested

    Scope of Responsibility

    The PBX Operator is also responsible for supplying information to callers and keeps a record if calls placed.

    Education

      • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Training and Experience
      • Minimum 2 years of Administrative support or office management in health related field with patient interactions preferred
      • Coordination of communication with medical staff and related departments preferred

      • Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word experience required

      • Computer proficiency preferred

      • Excellent telephone etiquette preferred

      • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

      • Knowledge of HIPPA regulations preferred

      • Strong verbal and written communication skill

      • Strong organization skill

      • Strong multitasking skill in a fast paced setting
