The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in multilayer PCB layout design using Altium Designer and a solid understanding of high-speed, mixed-signal, power, and RF design considerations.

The candidate will work closely with hardware, embedded, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to develop compact, rugged, and production-ready electronics for mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts for embedded electronic systems using Altium Designer.
  • Handle component placement, routing, and optimization for:
    • High-speed digital interfaces
    • Mixed-signal circuits
    • Power electronics
    • RF and communication modules
  • Develop PCB stack-ups and implement controlled impedance routing, differential pair routing, grounding, and power integrity techniques.
  • Generate complete manufacturing outputs including Gerber files, ODB++, assembly drawings, fabrication notes, and BOM documentation.
  • Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC, thermal, signal integrity, and DFM/DFA requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during schematic review, prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation phases.
  • Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to support prototype and production builds.
  • Support design optimization for SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) constraints in autonomous vehicle applications.
