Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist, Casual
Summary
Provide specialized pediatric hematology-oncology care, including bone marrow and stem cell transplants, and lead clinical research at a children's health system.
Provide expert clinical care for pediatric patients undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplantation.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, bone marrow failure syndromes, immunodeficiencies, hemoglobinopathies, and other conditions requiring cellular therapies or transplantation.
Deliver inpatient and outpatient care across the continuum of transplant treatment, including pre-transplant evaluation, transplant management, and long-term survivorship follow-up.
Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and collaborative care conferences.
Contribute to the development and growth of the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program.
Collaborate with clinical research teams and participate in institutional, cooperative group, translational, and clinical research initiatives.
Engage in quality, safety, and process improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in call coverage and other departmental responsibilities as assigned.
