Provide pediatric primary care, including physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions in a hospital setting.

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Primary Care Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospitals maintain a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain their high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

  • Functions independently to complete history and physical data on patients, performs complete physical exams, and interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient needs.
  • Completes physical exams to the extent of what is medically necessary in the normal course of treatment for a specific patient.
  • Collaborates with multi-specialty colleagues, working as an integral part of a world-class health system.
  • Responsible for all patient interactions within area of service.
  • May manage both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Work schedule may include evenings and weekends.
