Opportunity Details:
- Provide evaluations, counseling, and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families with a wide range of developmental and behavioral difficulties including dyslexia, writing difficulties, math disorders, and other school-related learning problems.
- Conduct relevant physical, developmental, and emotional-behavioral evaluations of children/adolescents between the ages of Newborn and 21 years of age.
- Conduct specialty assessments as needed (e.g. - genetic dysmorphology, motor functioning, feeding/diet, and sleep).
- Meet with the leaders of the child and adolescent behavioral health team to discuss complex cases and assist in the development of specialized assessment and treatment programs.
- Work with schools, preschools, and other agencies involved with developmental care and education to advocate for patients.
- Provide standardized diagnostic assessments for autism and specialty assessments for ADHD and anxiety.
- Provide direct education to residents, medical students, allied health providers, and junior members of the medical staff.
