Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) Program Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide coordination for the development, implementation, and ongoing operations of undergraduate course support programs focused on student learning, persistence and degree completion. Provide leadership and supervision for graduate and undergraduate student employees. Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
20% - Unit/Departmental Engagement:Assist with the design and delivery of the for-credit training course for new PAL Leaders and ASC Tutors. Assist with departmental programs and initiatives. Collaborate with the ASC Tutoring Program Manager. Serve on departmental and/or divisional committees or task forces. Complete special projects as assigned.

45% - Personnel Management:
Provide leadership and supervision for the graduate assistant and 80+ undergraduate student employees supporting the Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) program. Coordinate the development and implementation of recruitment, hiring, onboarding, timekeeping, and evaluation processes for PAL program staff.

35% - Program Coordination:
Coordinate ongoing operations for the PAL program including session scheduling, space reservations, data collection, assessment activities, and Canvas content. Maintain and update PAL records, policies and procedures. Provide information and updates to instructors teaching PAL-supported courses and campus partners. Serve as primary point of contact for the PAL program. Work with Manager of Outreach and Promotion to promote the PAL program.

Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Preferred Requirements:
A master's degree in Education, Learning Services, Psychology, or STEM field.
3+ years of experience working in student academic support programs.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
Expected Salary Range
$52,100 - $58,926Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL:
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
