As a Peer Recovery Specialist you'll be an integral part of our treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll contribute to creating a therapeutic environment that fosters patient support and well-being.

- Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, and/or support groups
- Accurately record vital signs
- Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revision
- Employ crisis-intervention techniques, and use facility-approved CPI techniques
- Assist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygiene
- Comply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
- Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred. Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy, psychology, human services, or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred.
- Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
- Licensure: Active Peer Support Specialist Certification in the state of Washington. Required. Must meet all eligibility requirements for Washington State Certified Peer Support Specialist certification, including the lived-experience requirements established by the Washington State Health Care Authority and Department of Health.
- Additional Skill Requirements: Successful completion CPR certification and crisis intervention training within 10 days of employment prior to assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work flexible hours.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $24.00 - $26.00 hourly + SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Peer Recovery Specialist.
