Pega Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement application enhancements based on approved change requests.
• Perform application testing, defect resolution and deployment support.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and respond to user queries.
• Analyse reported issues and provide appropriate resolutions or workarounds.
• Liaise with external system teams to resolve integration or production issues where required.
• Ensure assigned tasks and deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor and meet service level agreements (SLAs), escalating issues where necessary.
• Work with the team to support continuous improvement of application performance and processes.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience in application development, application support or software engineering.
• Knowledge of Java is required.
• Exposure to Pega will be an advantage; candidates with Java experience who are keen to learn Pega may also be considered.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a support team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and application platforms.
