Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct penetration testing engagements across multiple domains:
- Web applications and APIs
- Mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Internal and external networks
- Cloud platforms and configurations
- Document and communicate findings through structured, professional reports and client debriefs
- Provide remediation guidance and advisory support to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to tooling, methodologies, and team knowledge sharing
- Support red and purple team exercises when required
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in penetration testing or application security
- Strong understanding of application-layer vulnerabilities and secure development practices
- Proficiency in tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Postman, Nmap, and custom scripts
- Experience testing APIs (REST, GraphQL) and mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Familiarity with secure development practices and the software development lifecycle
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT) are highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
