People and Culture Advisor
Purpose
As a People & Culture Advisor, you will infuse the workplace with vibrancy, nurturing a productive, engaged, and harmonious atmosphere. This is a unique 10 month maternity leave coverage role providing administrative support 3 x days per week for our General Manager payroll function as well as 2 x days supporting the People & Culture function in Melbourne.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as the primary HR support contact for General Managers, providing guidance and resolving employee leave, payroll, and benefits-related queries.
Manage HR administration and system transactions across the General Manager lifecycle, including leave, remuneration changes, benefits, contracts, and terminations.
Coordinate people reporting, payroll administration, remuneration processes, and employee communications to ensure accurate data and effective stakeholder support.
Ensuring meticulous attention to detail when approving requisitions and job offers for new hires
Processing of Team Member exits
Assisting with any assigned ad-hoc tasks as they arise
Skills and Experience
Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple processes, systems, and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for General Managers and other internal stakeholders.
Effective communication and time management skills, supported by a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
Ability to work independently, use initiative, and exercise sound judgment when managing tasks and responding to queries.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality outcomes and contribute positively to team success.
Previous experience in Human Resources, administration or a similar support role is advantageous but not essential.
