People and Culture Advisor
In this hands-on, people-facing role, you will support assigned client groups throughout the employee life cycle. You will serve as a primary contact for employee matters, investigations, and performance management; analyze workforce trends; administer leave requests; support compliance and engagement activities; coach operational sites; and collaborate to provide a consistent employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Support assigned client groups with daily needs
- Serve as the primary contact for employee matters, investigations, and performance management, escalating matters as needed
- Analyze attrition, engagement, headcount, and performance data and provide recommendations
- Administer leave-of-absence requests, including FMLA, workers' compensation, and short-term disability
- Assist with compliance tasks, safety-training records, and labor-law postings
- Support engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and surveys
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for operational sites and assigned client groups
- Collaborate across functions and within the People and Culture team to ensure a consistent employee experience
Requirements
- 3+ years of HR experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as HiBob and Workday
- Strong understanding of People and Culture best practices
- Business acumen and ability to translate people data into strategic recommendations
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters
- Experience supporting teams through organizational change
- Experience with unionized workers is a plus
