People & Culture Assistant Manager
1. Position Summary:
Rixos Phu Quoc is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Assistant Manager, People & Culture to support the daily operations of the People & Culture department. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting in compensation & benefits, expatriate documentations, employee engagement, and HR administration, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all team members. This role plays a key part in supporting a collaborative and high-performing workplace culture in alignment with Rixos standards.
2. Key Responsibilities:
• HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR documentation, and ensure timely data entry in HR systems. Prepare letters, reports, and other HR-related documents.
• Compensation & Benefits: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee C&B inquiries. Manage and resolve issues regarding housing, allowances, insurance, and other welfare schemes to ensure seamless administration and employee satisfaction.
• Expatriate Management: Lead and manage all procedures for foreign employees, including work permits, temporary residence cards (TRC), and visas. Ensure full compliance with local regulations and support international team members efficiently.
• Onboarding & Orientation: Coordinate new hire orientation sessions, prepare induction materials, and ensure a positive and efficient onboarding experience for new team members.
• Employee Engagement: Support and participate in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs to enhance workplace morale and satisfaction.
• Payroll Support: Compile and verify attendance, leave, and overtime records. Submit payroll-related data accurately and on time to the payroll team.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure that HR activities comply with company policies and local labor laws. Communicate policies effectively to employees and support their understanding.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Provide support in resolving minor issues and escalate where appropriate.
• Data Reporting: Generate HR reports, track KPIs such as turnover and absenteeism, and assist with HR audits or compliance checks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager, People & Culture and other departments to ensure the effective implementation of HR initiatives.
3. Working Conditions: Full-time position
• Standard office hours, Monday through Friday
• Occasional need for overtime depending on workload or special events
• On-site role with regular interaction with employees and various departments
Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a hospitality environment or luxury resort. Prior experience in handling C&B operations and expatriate management (Work Permits/TRC) is highly preferred.
Legal & Policy Knowledge: Strong understanding of local labor laws, social insurance regulations, HR practices and expatriate employment procedures in Vietnam.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HR information systems. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
