People & Culture Executive - Fairmont Agra
Summary
Oversees recruitment, employee development, and HR compliance for a luxury hotel, ensuring legal adherence and fostering workplace culture.
- To maintain a systematic recruitment and selection process, maintaining a database of internal and external candidates for employment, whereby the primary focus is to provide development opportunities and promotions from within the company, with external recruitment as back up.
- To adhere to set external recruitment procedures to obtain the best talents in the marketplace from the competition.
- To be able to communicate and explain the Employee In-House Rules & Regulations to employees.
- Coordinates with Departmental Heads in ensuring employee commitment to Company rules and Policies.
- To ensure that employee facilities are maintained and cleaned to hotel standards of operation, including the Employee Restaurant, bunker, Locker Rooms and other designated areas.
- To ensure that all People & Culture / Administration Practices are complete and in keeping with legal practices, Policies & Procedures and the Philosophy of the Hotel.
- Responsible for ensuring completeness and accuracy of all relevant statutory records, registers & Forms. To ensure all legal returns/formalities are complied with e.g., E.S.I., P.F, Apprenticeship Act, Contract labour, Employment exchange etc.
- To develop and implement employee training and development programmes that align with organisational objectives and support career progression.
- To oversee performance management systems, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms, to ensure fair and consistent evaluation of employee performance.
- To manage employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies.
- To administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely communication of benefits to all employees.
- To promote employee engagement and retention initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and enhance organisational commitment.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, or Administration roles, preferably within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry
- Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is desirable
