People & Data Analytics Specialist

Summary

This role is a 6-month contract focused on data engineering for workforce analytics, involving the maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and Power BI reporting. The specialist will manage the end-to-end workforce data ecosystem using Databricks and data lake environments.

Salary: $600 inc super / day

We're seeking a People Data & Analytics Specialist to join a team responsible for the end-to-end workforce data ecosystem, from source systems and integrations through to enterprise reporting and insights.

This role has a strong data engineering focus, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure workforce data is accurate, accessible and fit for purpose.

Key Experience
  • Databricks and data lake environments
  • ETL pipelines, integrations and data movement
  • Data modelling and data quality management
  • Power BI reporting and analytics
  • Workday experience highly regarded
  • Exposure to People / Workforce data advantageous
What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting and maintaining workforce data pipelines and integrations
  • Managing and optimising datasets used across the business
  • Developing and enhancing reporting solutions in Power BI
  • Ensuring data quality, governance and reliability
  • Supporting workforce analytics initiatives, including turnover reporting and insights
We're looking for someone who is technically strong, curious by nature, and comfortable taking ownership in an environment where priorities can evolve. Experience with People Analytics is beneficial, but strong data engineering capability is the priority.
