People Operations Specialist
- Create and maintain staff rosters and schedules for events using a time and attendance system (Humanforce).
- Adjust schedules as necessary to meet staffing requirements.
- Support with addressing payroll queries
- Deliver the event-day procedures for staffing operations, including accreditation, uniform distribution, time & attendance capturing, and distribution to work areas.
- Ensure that team members adhere to all regulations, venue policies and protocols throughout the event.
- Providing welfare support to casual team members where necessary.
- Deliver on-site reward and recognition initiatives.
Data & Reporting
- Complete accurate and time-efficient reports, including timesheets and attendance.
- As required, analyse system data, conducting regular audits to identify and address any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Support team members with any queries they may have whilst fostering a positive work environment.
- Support with ER case work as required.
- Play an active role in the recruitment and onboarding of team members, including the support of recruitment events.
- Assist the Training & Development team to coordinate training sessions, workshops and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
- Support to ensure compliance with UK employment law , company policies and industry regulations, updating policies where necessary.
- Monitor the People Operations mailbox, ensuring queries are answered with accuracy and in a timely manner.

- Proven experience in staff scheduling or workforce planning, ideally within hospitality, events, or a casual labour environment.
- Proficient in using workforce management or time & attendance systems (e.g. Humanforce.).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage high-volume rostering, respond to last-minute changes, and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond to queries from a large and diverse casual workforce with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes, including timesheet validation and query resolution.
- Confident using MS Office, especially Excel, and comfortable working with data.

- Willing and able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, in line with event schedules.
