The opportunity

This role sits within the Group Organisation Design and Strategic Workforce Planning team, shaping and maintaining QBE’s job architecture and skills ecosystem. It combines governance, data integrity and delivery with the opportunity to introduce more scalable, technology-enabled and AI-driven approaches to workforce design.

Your new role

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our job and skills frameworks are consistent, market-relevant and trusted, while continuously improving how they’re managed and used across the business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across People, Technology and Data to drive better workforce decisions through high-quality data and streamlined processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and uplift governance of job architecture and skills through structured forums, enabling clear decision-making and alignment

  • Lead and support skills governance activities, ensuring frameworks remain relevant, practical and aligned to market shifts

  • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, governance efficiency and user experience

  • Project manage key initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through to implementation and transition into BAU

  • Partner with Technology and Data teams to improve system capability and deliver scalable, tech-enabled and AI-driven solutions

About you

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working at the intersection of data, governance and delivery, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex problems. You’ll be collaborative, detail-oriented and confident, engaging stakeholders, with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement and innovation.

Key requirements:

  • Experience working with job architecture, skills data or similar workforce frameworks / data

  • Proven ability to deliver projects or continuous improvement initiatives in complex, matrixed environments

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions

  • Experience working with enterprise HR systems (e.g. Workday or similar)

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data quality, governance and insight generation

  • Exposure to workforce analytics and labour market insights
