People Systems Analyst
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
At Snowflake, our People team is the backbone of an extraordinary employee experience. As a People Systems Analyst on the People Technology team, you'll serve as a key business systems partner — bridging the gap between our People Operations stakeholders and the platforms that power their work. You'll lead discovery, drive requirements, own testing, and see projects through from kickoff to hypercare — ensuring our HR and talent systems scale with the speed and complexity of Snowflake.
This is a hybrid role based in our Menlo Park, CA, Dublin, CA, or Bellevue, WA offices with a minimum of 3 days per week in-office attendance required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Partner closely with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and HR stakeholders to conduct discovery, translate business needs into clear requirements, and recommend system solutions
Lead end-to-end project delivery for system implementations and enhancements — including requirements gathering, solution design, UAT planning and execution, cutover coordination, go-live deployment, and hypercare support
Create and own test plans, test scripts, and defect tracking; lead structured testing cycles and coordinate cross-functional testers to ensure quality outcomes before every release
Administer, configure, and support HR systems day-to-day, including ServiceNow HRSD and our Applicant Tracking System (Ashby), resolving production issues and delivering on enhancement requests
Triage and manage the support queue — troubleshooting system issues, researching root causes, routing escalations, and communicating resolution timelines to stakeholders
Ensure data integrity across HR platforms and downstream systems; adhere to data governance, compliance, and security policies
Document processes, configuration decisions, and procedures; assist with end-user training and quick reference guide creation
Leverage AI tools to improve, automate, and operationalize tasks and processes across the People Systems function
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
4+ years of hands-on business systems analyst experience in HR technology, including discovery, requirements documentation, testing, and deployment ownership on a project basis
Experience supporting system implementations in a high-growth, global environment
Demonstrated ability to lead UAT and regression testing — writing test scripts, organizing testers, tracking defects, and driving issues to resolution
Experience with cutover planning, go-live coordination, and hypercare support for system implementations or major releases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical, detail-oriented approach to documentation and process design
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and evolving priorities while maintaining quality and responsiveness to stakeholder needs
Customer-service orientation and a collaborative mindset — you follow up, you follow through, and you stay calm under pressure
Curiosity and experience experimenting with Snowflake AI tools such as Cortex Code and CoWork, as well as external AI tools like Gemini and ChatGPT, to improve day-to-day work
BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Hands-on administration and BSA experience with ServiceNow HRSD — including catalog items, flows, HR case management, and configuration
Experience supporting or administering Ashby, or another comparable Applicant Tracking System
Hands-on Workday HCM experience — configuration, business processes, or production support
Familiarity with HR data governance practices and handling sensitive employee data
Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake employees must abide by the company's data security plan as an essential part of their duties. It is every employee's duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
