Senior PeopleSoft developer (7-12 yrs) in Bengaluru building and maintaining PeopleSoft applications — PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, pages, and integrations via Integration Broker/REST/SOAP — along with Oracle PL/SQL tuning, PeopleSoft administration (WebLogic/Tuxedo), and Python automation with SFTP and Kafka.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft development using PeopleTools 8.5x/8.6x.
- Experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Component Processor, and Application Designer.
- Hands-on experience developing and modifying PeopleSoft pages, components, records, fields, menus, file layouts, Event Mapping, and WorkCenters.
- Experience with Integration Broker, REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML/JSON, and file-based integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with PeopleSoft administration, including PIA, application/web/process scheduler domains, WebLogic, Tuxedo, security, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with application migration, change packages, object comparison and migration, upgrades, and patching using Change Assistant and CAPI.
- Knowledge of Git-based version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Python 3.x scripting, including file handling, JSON/CSV parsing, exception handling, and automation.
- Experience with SFTP integrations and Kafka-based event generation
