Per Diem Hospice RN Nurse

Kline Galland Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated hospice care team. While prior hospice experience is welcomed, we are most excited to meet nurses who demonstrate a genuine passion for hospice care and a deep commitment to serving patients and families with dignity, respect, and compassion.
As a Per Diem Hospice RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered hospice care throughout a designated territory within King County. Territory assignments are generally stable, though occasional support in other service areas may be requested. Our hospice team is based out of our Georgetown office, where training, team meetings, and professional development activities are held.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide case management and coordinate care and community resources.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease progression, symptom management, and available services.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to interdisciplinary team members.
- Deliver evidence-based pain and symptom management.
- Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and standards of care.
- Promote patient dignity, comfort, and family-centered care throughout the hospice journey.
