Per Diem Substitute Teacher - Districtwide
The North Babylon Union Free School District, is seeking qualified Per Diem Substitute Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year.
Position: Per Diem Substitute Teacher
Start Date: Ongoing – 2025–2026 School Year
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and maintain classroom management in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Implement lesson plans as provided by the teacher or building administration.
- Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Maintain professional communication with staff and administration.
Qualifications:
- New York State Teacher Certification preferred (all content areas considered).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different grade levels and subject areas as needed.
