Senior/Lead DevOps engineer on the PerfectDraft engineering team in London, shaping an AI-ready cloud platform using Terraform infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security-by-design, while mentoring engineers and driving AI-enabled engineering workflows.
As part of the PerfectDraft engineering team in London, you will shape an AI-ready cloud platform and modern delivery pipelines. You’ll apply infrastructure-as-code, automation, and DevOps practices to support scalable, secure product delivery at global scale. You’ll lead AI-enabled workflows and help ensure responsible use of AI in engineering. This role combines platform engineering, security-by-design, and cross-functional collaboration to drive reliable, high-impact outcomes.

- Design and evolve an AI-ready cloud platform using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and modern DevOps practices
- Develop and optimise AI-enabled CI/CD pipelines with automation, testing, and governance controls
- Drive adoption of AI-powered engineering workflows by providing infrastructure, tooling, guardrails and developer platforms
- Use AI, automation and observability tools to improve performance, reliability and cost efficiency across cloud and production environments
- Embed security-by-design principles across infrastructure, delivery processes and AI development practices
- Act as a technical leader across engineering teams, mentoring engineers and improving developer experience
- Proven experience designing, building and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in production
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Demonstrated success in building CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of observability (logging, monitoring, incident management)
- Interest in applying AI/automation to engineering workflows and responsible AI adoption
- Collaborative, pragmatic approach with ability to influence across technical teams
- Formal qualifications are not required, practical capability is valued
