Performance & Affiliate Marketing Manager
About the Role
You’ll own Optery’s paid acquisition engine across Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Reddit, TikTok, and emerging channels, for both our consumer and business audiences. You’ll plan, launch, and optimize campaigns against clear acquisition cost and revenue targets, and decide where the next dollar should go.
You’ll also help lead our affiliate partnerships program, treating it as another performance channel: working with partners on offers, creative, and tracking so affiliate-driven signups grow alongside paid.
What You’ll Do
Own day-to-day management of paid campaigns across Google (Search, Performance Max, YouTube), Meta, Reddit, TikTok, and other channels, from setup and targeting to bidding and budget pacing
Run B2C acquisition for our consumer subscriptions and B2B demand generation for Optery for Business
Build and run a steady testing roadmap across audiences, creative, offers, landing pages, and bidding strategies
Brief and iterate on ad creative with designers and creators, including UGC-style video for social channels
Allocate budget across channels based on acquisition cost, payback, and incrementality, not just platform-reported results
Own tracking and attribution hygiene with our analytics team: pixels, conversion APIs, UTMs, and offline conversion imports
Help lead affiliate partnerships: recruiting and activating partners, setting offers and commission structures, supplying creative, and monitoring performance and brand compliance
Report on channel performance weekly, and turn results into clear recommendations for the next test or budget shift
Scout and pilot new channels (for example, connected TV, podcasts, app networks, or LinkedIn) when the math supports it
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of hands-on experience running paid acquisition across several channels, ideally including search plus at least one social platform (for example, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Reddit Ads, TikTok Ads Manager)
A performance mindset: you think in acquisition cost, conversion rate, payback, and lifetime value, and you can explain why a campaign worked
Comfort with analytics and attribution tools (for example, GA4, Amplitude, Looker Studio)
A creative eye: you know what makes a scroll-stopping ad on each platform and can write a sharp brief
Some exposure to affiliate or partner marketing and the platforms behind it (for example, PartnerStack, Impact, or similar)
Organized and self-directed in a remote team, able to manage many campaigns and partner conversations without dropping threads
Bonus: experience with consumer subscriptions, B2B demand generation, or privacy and security products
Location
While Optery is a fully-remote global team, this position is based in the United States and is required to work regular U.S. business hours, i.e. in the U.S. Eastern, Central, Mountain, and/or Pacific time zones.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $130K - $140K
Great health, dental, and vision insurance
401k program with employer match
Paid time off policy
Equal Opportunity
Optery values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer. Optery does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.
