Performance Division Student Assistant
In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
Federal Work Study student may apply.
In good disciplinary standing.
Must be located in the U.S.

The Performance Division Student Assistant supports the promotion, communication, and visual documentation of Performance Division programs and events. This role is ideal for a student with strong creative skills, and experience with digital media, graphic design, and photography. The assistant will help maintain a consistent and engaging public presence across platforms while supporting day-to-day communication needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule social media posts for various Performance Division programs and events
- Design promotional materials, including flyers, digital graphics, and other marketing assets
- Attend Performance Division events to photograph, document, and promote activities
- Edit and organize media for promotional and archival use
- Assist with program communications, including email newsletters and announcements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Current student in good academic standing
- Experience with graphic design and visual content creation
- Proficiency with creative and/or business communication software
- Photography experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
- Basic photo editing skills
Work Expectations:
- Commitment of 10–15 hours per week
- Additional hours may be needed for special projects
- Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required to attend events
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Hourly Rate: Student Worker 2, $16.97/hour
