# Performance Marketing Lead
## Company Overview
We build health and wellness care for mothers and babies across pregnancy through two years postnatal. This happens through three businesses working together: a premium postnatal care institute in Mumbai, a pan-India app, and a nutraceuticals product line — all serving the same mother across the same window of care.
## Job Summary
The Performance Marketing Lead is responsible for owning the end-to-end paid acquisition strategy for our three business lines: the Institute, the App, and the Product Line. This role combines creativity with data-driven decision-making, managing campaigns across various platforms while building a robust system for creative testing and iteration to optimize performance continuously.
## Responsibilities
- **Paid & Performance Media**: Plan and execute paid acquisition strategies across Meta, Google, and relevant marketplace/quick-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads, Blinkit, Zepto).
- **Budget Management**: Own budget pacing and spend decisions based on real Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) targets, with daily tracking and adjustments.
- **Creative Research & Testing**: Continuously research competitor creatives, format trends, and benchmarks; build a creative iteration engine to test new concepts and formats.
- **Agency & Vendor Management**: Brief and hold accountable performance marketing agencies and specialist vendors while evaluating their media plans and creative recommendations against data.
- **Measurement & Reporting**: Build and manage performance dashboards, including key metrics like CAC, ROAS, hook rate, and CTR; report detailed performance insights directly to the CEO.
- **Collaboration**: Work alongside the Brand & Content Head to ensure creative alignment with brand guidelines while partnering with the Channel Head to determine optimal platforms and moments for paid support.
## Qualifications
- **Experience**: 3-6 years of hands-on performance marketing experience, ideally in-house at a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) or consumer brand.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong fluency in key performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, contribution margin, hook rate, hold rate, CTR) with the ability to write detailed performance reports.
- **Creative Testing**: Proven experience in building and running a creative testing process, including research, benchmarking, and iteration.
- **Budget Management**: Demonstrated ability to manage real paid budgets across Meta, Google, and other marketplace or quick-commerce platforms.
- **Agency Interaction**: Experience managing or working directly with a performance marketing agency.
- **Education**: Relevant bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
## Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with quick-commerce ad platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart.
- Experience in nutraceuticals, wellness, D2C healthcare, or other trust-driven categories.
