Performance Marketing Manager
About us
At Suntransfers, we make airport transfers seamless for millions of travelers worldwide every year. We know that getting to and from a holiday destination can be stressful — especially when traveling through an overseas airport or port. That’s why we exist: to ensure our customers reach their destination effortlessly and with a smile on their face.
We provide a stress-free, enjoyable, and affordable experience, allowing customers to start and finish their trip in style — always supported by the best customer service.
Today we're part of a larger group alongside CMAC, specialists in flight disruption services across Europe, and CDG, who operate their own fleet of vehicles. Together, we're building the future of travel experiences, blending technology, flexibility, and operational excellence.
About the Role
We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale paid acquisition across search, social, and affiliate channels. You'll sit within the Growth team, working closely with the Head of Growth, SEO, CRO, and Data functions to drive profitable, efficient growth in Cost of Sale and revenue across destination-specific and market-specific campaigns. This is a hands-on, highly analytical role for someone who thrives on campaign structure, bid strategy, and turning data into decisions, with an increasing focus on how AI and automation are reshaping paid media.

This is a hands-on, highly analytical role for someone who thrives on campaign structure, bid strategy, and turning data into decisions, with an increasing focus on how AI and automation are reshaping paid media.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimise paid performance across Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads, and Meta — managing campaign structure, bidding, budget allocation, and Cost of Sale (CoS) across markets and destinations
- Lead top-of-funnel and brand awareness activity across paid social, video, and display, building full-funnel media plans that connect brand reach to bottom-funnel conversion
- Grow and manage the affiliate programme, from partner recruitment and commission structures to platform management and performance compliance
- Build a strong testing and experimentation culture, continuously testing creative, audiences, bidding strategies, landing pages and channel approaches
- Track and act on emerging trends in AI-driven and agentic search (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity), adapting paid strategy to new discovery and booking behaviours
- Build reporting, forecasting, and testing frameworks that link spend to Gross Profit, using GA4, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and BI tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with CRO, SEO, Growth, Product, and Development teams, and manage external agencies or freelancers where relevant
- Present performance insights and recommendations clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
- 3–6+ years' hands-on experience managing paid search/performance marketing budgets, ideally in travel, e-commerce, or a marketplace
- Fluent in English – Additional languages are a plus!
- Deep working knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, AI Max, DSA) and campaign-level bid strategy; Microsoft Ads and Meta experience a plus
- Experience planning and running top-of-funnel/brand awareness campaigns, with a clear grasp of full-funnel measurement beyond last-click
- Proven track record of improving Cost of Sale or CPA while growing volume, with clear examples of audits or optimisations driven end to end
- Comfortable working with large datasets in Excel/Sheets/BI tools; SQL or Python a plus
- Understanding of the wider growth funnel and how paid interacts with SEO, CRO, and CRM and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work
- Curiosity about how AI is changing search and paid media, from automated bidding to AI Overviews and agentic/assistant-driven discovery
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Commercially minded and comfortable connecting paid media activity to revenue and forecasting impact, with a genuine drive for continuous improvement
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Self-sufficient and comfortable working with little direct supervision
Nice to Have
- Experience managing an affiliate programme, ideally with familiarity with network platforms such as CJ or Awin
- Background in travel, mobility, or airport/transport sectors, and/or experience running multi-market or multi-language campaigns
- Familiarity with tools like Semrush or Ahrefs for competitive and keyword research, plus a basic understanding of forecasting/financial modelling for marketing channels
