Your main responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute performance and security testing plans for cybersecurity solutions.
Analyze system performance under various loads and identify potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize security architectures and performance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and report on security-related system issues to improve overall reliability.
Conduct continuous performance assessments to ensure compliance with security standards.
Document testing procedures, results, and improvement recommendations transparently.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and testing methodologies.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
Experience in performance testing, ideally within cybersecurity or related fields.
Familiarity with performance testing tools and frameworks.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and defense mechanisms.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to document and present testing outcomes.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
Certifications related to cybersecurity or performance testing (e.g., Certified Ethical Hacker, ISTQB Security Tester).
Experience with security testing tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc.
Knowledge of cloud environments and security protocols.
