Performance Test Engineer designing and executing load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests using Apache JMeter for web applications and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Analyze application architecture, business requirements, and production usage patterns to define appropriate performance testing strategies and workload models.
- Design and execute baseline, load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
- Create realistic workloads covering different user journeys, transaction volumes, concurrency levels, and business scenarios.
- Implement parameterization, correlation, assertions, timers, controllers, pre-processors, and post-processors in JMeter.
- Perform performance testing for web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, and distributed applications.
- Execute tests with different load profiles and analyze application behavior under varying levels of concurrency.
- 4+ years of experience in Performance Testing.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter.
- Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, cookies, and sessions.
- Strong understanding of Load/Stress/Endurance/Spike testing.
- Experience with JMeter scripting, correlation, parameterization, assertions, timers, and controllers.
