Summary
Senior performance test engineer who owns performance test delivery end to end — scoping, scripting in NeoLoad/LoadRunner, execution, bottleneck analysis, and reporting — while also supporting presales demos and proof-of-concepts. Offshore role in India with short-notice travel to Australia or the US.
Overview
We
are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer who can support a
range of activities, including presales efforts such as presentations,
technical demonstrations and delivery of proof of concepts, as well as being
responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive performance testing
strategies, test plans and reports, with a strong focus on scripting using
tools such as Neo Load and LoadRunner.
The
candidate's primary location will be offshore (Preferred Locations: Chennai,
Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune); however, they must be available to travel on-site
(Australia or the United States) at short notice.
Your Role and
Responsibilities
- Support
the project team on pre-sales activities such as presentation, technical
demo, deliver Proof of concepts (PoCs) and other technical tasks in
creating a commercial proposal.
- Own
delivery of performance test phases from scoping to design, prep,
execution through to test closure.
- Proven
experience in creating re-usable performance test scripts and assets using Tricentis Neo Load and OpenText LoadRunner.
- Analyse
performance results to identify bottlenecks and optimization potentials.
- Provide
accurate estimates for delivery of performance test tasks, scripting,
execution, analysis and reporting.
- Work
with distributed team resources, developers, DBAs, SMEs to analyze, identify
and resolve performance test issues.
- Analyze
performance metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create
performance test reports detailed to appropriate levels depending on
audience (eg. Interim test reports, Test Summary Report)
Requirements
What We’re
Looking For
We’re looking for candidates with a combination
of the following:
- 4+ years of
hands-on experience in performance engineering and testing, and minimum 2
+ years of scripting experience with Neo Load/LoadRunner/JMeter and strong
understanding of performance testing approach, bottlenecks, load testing,
and stress testing.
- Proven experience
in supporting end-to-end performance testing projects, including scoping
and planning phases.
- Proven experience
in creating performance testing reports, with strong communication skills
to effectively engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Neo
Load (2+ years is a must) or other performance tools such as LoadRunner
and JMeter
- Any previous SAP or
S/4HANA performance testing experience using Neo Load or LoadRunner
- Experience in APM
tools to monitor and analyze application performance.
- Excellent written
and verbal communication skills to effectively present technical findings
to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in
performance testing (e.g. Tricentis NeoLoad.) are a plus.
- Any test automation
experience using TOSCA and UFT will be a plus
